Opening and Closing the Hood
Opening the Hood
- Inside your vehicle, pull the hood release handle located under the left-hand side of the instrument panel.
- Go to the front of your vehicle and release the auxiliary latch.
- Lift the hood until the lift cylinders hold it open.
- To close the hood, lower the hood and apply closing force as it drops the last 8 to 11 inches (20 to 30 centimeters).
