Opening and Closing the Hood
Opening the Hood
- Inside the vehicle, pull the hood release handle located under the left-hand side of the instrument panel.
- Slightly lift the hood.
- Move the catch to the left.
- Open the hood.The hood strut automatically supports the hood.
Closing the Hood
- Lower the hood to approximately 8 in (20 cm).
- Firmly push down on the front of the hood to close it fully.
Note:
Make sure that the hood is correctly closed.
Note:
If the hood does not close fully, open the hood and close it again.
