Opening the Hood

Hood Release Handle Under the Instrument Panel

Inside the vehicle, pull the hood release handle located under the left-hand side of the instrument panel.

Slightly lift the hood.

Move the catch to the left.

Open the hood.The hood strut automatically supports the hood.

Closing the Hood

Lower the hood to approximately 8 in (20 cm).

Firmly push down on the front of the hood to close it fully.

Note: Make sure that the hood is correctly closed.

Note: If the hood does not close fully, open the hood and close it again.
