Note:   When using a child restraint on a front seat, the following longitudinal seat positioning guideline should be followed: The child restraint must not be in contact with the instrument panel. The passenger seat should be positioned as far rearward as possible by having a seat belt routing (from B-Pillar ring to child restraint) in a forward direction. If it proves difficult to tighten the lap section of the safety belt without slack remaining, adjust the seatback to the fully upright position and raise the height of the seat.   See   Seats
Note:   When using a child restraint on a rear seat, adjust the seat in front of it in a position to prevent contact with the rear passenger, child feet or child legs. Make sure the child restraint rests tightly against the vehicle seat. If necessary adjust the seatback to an upright position.
