Using Snow Chains
WARNING:
Do not exceed
50 km/h (30 mph).
WARNING:
Do not use snow chains on snow-free roads.
WARNING:
Only fit snow chains to specified tires. See
Technical Specifications.
WARNING:
If your vehicle has wheel trims, remove them before fitting snow chains. |
Only use snow chains of 10 millimeters or smaller.
Only use snow chains on the front wheels.
Note:
The anti-lock braking system will continue to operate normally.
Vehicles with Stability Control
When stability control is on, your vehicle may exhibit some unusual driving characteristics. To reduce this, switch traction control off. See
