Creating a MyKey
- Switch the ignition on using the key or the transmitter you want to program.
- Access the main menu using the entertainment display.
To Create MyKey, use the entertainment display controls to select the following:

MyKey | Select MyKey. |
Create MyKey | Select Create MyKey. |
Yes | Select Yes. |
| For push-button start vehicles, place the transmitter in the backup position. See Push Button Ignition Switch. | |
| You will see a message informing you to label this key as a MyKey. The key will be restricted at the next start. The programmed restrictions apply when you switch the ignition off, open and close the driver door and restart your vehicle with the programmed key or transmitter. | |
MyKey is successfully created. Make sure you label it so you can distinguish it from the admin keys.
You can program configurable settings for the key(s). Refer to Programming a MyKey.
