Opraken van de brandstof
Gebruik de volgende richtlijnen om de vorming van elektrostatische lading te voorkomen, wat kan leiden tot vonkvorming, wanneer u een niet-geaard brandstofreservoir vult:
Wanneer de brandstoftank helemaal leeg raakt, kan dit schade aan de auto veroorzaken die niet onder de voertuiggarantie valt.
Als de tank is leeggereden:- Voeg minimaal 5 L brandstof toe om de motor opnieuw te starten.
- Het is mogelijk dat u na bijtanken het contact herhaaldelijk moet uitzetten en daarna weer aanzetten, zodat het brandstofsysteem de brandstof van de tank naar de motor kan pompen.Bij opnieuw starten duurt de starttijd enkele seconden langer dan normaal.
N.B.:
Als de auto op een steile helling staat, kan er meer brandstof nodig zijn.
Een draagbaar brandstofreservoir vullen
WAARSCHUWING:
De brandstof die door het spuitstuk van de brandstofpomp stroomt, kan statische elektriciteit veroorzaken. Dit kan brand veroorzaken wanneer u een niet-geaard brandstofreservoir vult. |
Gebruik de volgende richtlijnen om de vorming van elektrostatische lading te voorkomen, wat kan leiden tot vonkvorming, wanneer u een niet-geaard brandstofreservoir vult:
- Gebruik alleen een goedgekeurd brandstofreservoir om brandstof in uw auto te gieten.Plaats het goedgekeurd brandstofreservoir op de grond tijdens het vullen.
- Vul het brandstofreservoir niet terwijl het in uw auto staat (inclusief in de kofferruimte).
- Houd het spuitstuk van de brandstofpomp in contact met het brandstofreservoir tijdens het vullen.
- Gebruik geen inrichting om de handgreep van de brandstofpomp op zijn plaats te houden.
Brandstof toevoegen uit een draagbaar brandstofreservoir

WAARSCHUWING:
Stop geen spuitstuk van een brandstofreservoir of trechter in de brandstofvulnek. Dit kan de vulnek van het brandstofsysteem of de afdichting ervan beschadigen en kan ervoor zorgen dat er brandstof op de grond terecht komt.
WAARSCHUWING:
Probeer het doploze brandstofsysteem niet open te wrikken of open te drukken met vreemde voorwerpen. Het brandstofsysteem en de afdichting kunnen beschadigd raken en u of anderen kunnen letsel oplopen.
WAARSCHUWING:
Voer geen brandstof met het huishoudelijk afval af en laat geen brandstof in de riolering stromen. Maak gebruik van een erkende faciliteit voor afvalverwerking. |
Wanneer u de brandstoftank van uw auto bijvult met een brandstofreservoir, moet u de tanktrechter bij uw auto gebruiken. Zie

N.B.:
Gebruik geen trechters uit de handel; deze werken wellicht niet in combinatie met het doploze brandstofsysteem en kunnen het systeem beschadigen.
Wanneer u de brandstoftank van uw auto bijvult met een brandstofreservoir, doet u het volgende:
- Open de tankklep volledig.
- Plaats de tanktrechter volledig in de tankinlaat.
- Vul de tank bij met brandstof uit het brandstofreservoir.
- Verwijder de tanktrechter.
- Sluit de tankklep volledig.
- Reinig de tanktrechter en plaats deze terug in de auto of gooi deze weg in overeenstemming met de regelgeving.
N.B.:
Extra trechters kunnen worden aangeschaft bij de erkende dealer als u de trechter wilt weggooien.
