Remote Start Limitations

Remote start does not work under the following conditions:

The alarm horn is sounding.
The hood is open.
The vehicle is not in park (P).
The vehicle is on.
Remote start has been disabled in the touchscreen.
The high voltage or 12 volt battery is below the minimum operating voltage.

Note: To use remote start with the Ford Pass, enable the modem. See Connecting FordPass to the Modem. To use remote start with Phone as a Key, enable the modem and set up Phone As A Key.
