1For markets having emissions level stage 4 and below.
2For markets with low sulphur content (less than 50 ppm) AND emissions level stage 5 & 6.
3WSS-M97B44-D2 is orange coolant. WSS-M97B57-A2 is yellow coolant. Yellow coolant may appear fluorescent green in some cooling systems which is a normal characteristic. Do not mix different colors or types of coolant in your vehicle. This will reduce the effectiveness of the coolants and may void the warranty.
Your engine has been designed to be used with our engine oil, which gives a fuel economy benefit while maintaining the durability of your engine.
Only use fluid that meets our specifications.Using oil and fluids that do not meet the defined specification and viscosity grade may lead to:
- Component damage which may not be covered by the vehicle Warranty.
- Longer engine cranking periods
- Increased emission levels.
- Reduced engine performance.
- Reduced fuel economy.
- Reduced brake performance.
Topping up the oil:
Engine oil - Diesel (for markets with low sulphur content less than 50 ppm): If you are unable to find an oil that meets the specification, you must use SAE 5W-30 that meets the specification defined by ACEA A5/B5.
Engine oil - Diesel (for markets with high sulphur content greater than 50 ppm): If you are unable to find an oil that meets the specification defined in the vehicle fluids table, you must use SAE 10W-30 that meets the specification defined by API CH-4.
Do not use supplemental engine oil additives because they are unnecessary and could lead to engine damage not covered by your vehicle warranty.
Note:
We recommend using DOT 4 Low Viscosity (LV) High Performance Brake Fluid or equivalent meeting WSS-M6C65-A2. Use of any fluid other than the recommended fluid may cause degraded brake performance and not meet our performance standards. Keep brake fluid clean and dry. Contamination with dirt, water, petroleum products or other materials may result in brake system damage and possible failure.
