Accessing the Passive Key Backup Position

If you are unable to start your vehicle, follow the steps below.

Open the floor console storage compartment lid.

Place the remote control in the slot as shown with the buttons facing upward.

With the remote control in this position, press the brake pedal, then press the push button start to switch the power on and start your vehicle.
